On this morning's drive into work, I was behind a guy on a mid size Suzuki/Yamaha-ish bike - followed him off the interstate and onto one of the main surface streets. He had a full face helmet and what appeared to be pretty solid rain gear, which makes what I saw when he stopped for a traffic light even more dumbfounding.

He was riding barefooted.

I have never seen that before in all my years of driving - even the squiddiest of squids have had something on their feet. I don't even want to think about the accidents waiting to happen there.
